Leaving Ravages of Time to start Cryptamnesia
It was a real hard move, but due to some creative differences I left the 10+ relationship I had with Ravages of Time, which wasn't easy, and started my own project, Cryptamnesia. Cryptamnesia keeps the hard rock feel with crunch breakdowns, but adds a more dominant monstrous, haunted sound in the mix. Its truly a great new project and I wish the dudes of Ravages of Time good luck out there.
Cryptamnesia won't be hitting stage until early February, but we already have taken over the internet! Just search Cryptamnesia in Instagram, Facebook, twitter, etc.
The new band is made up of 5 members, all in which were very talented people that I had met in my career with Ravages of Time. Aaron Kirby, former bassist for Amish Warfare has joined our Cryptamnesia family and I got to say the dude rocks. Overall nice guy and extremely talented bassist. Saryn Greymourn has joined as our Rhythm Guitarist and is an incredible person. I think one of his best perks is that he is incredible with mixing and recording his own music on the computer. He was kind enough to donate some of his own work to the band. I'm a big fan of his work.
As some of you Ravages of Time fans out there are aware, Doc used to be apart of the band as well. Doc and I have reunited and aside from getting The Orchestra of Death back on board, Doc has become part of the Cryptamnesia family as well as our Lead Guitarist. Doc and I go way back and have always connected as friends and musical partners so I'm real excited that he is apart of the new project.
Lastly we have Mikey who is also the drummer for The Orchestra of Death. He too a great musician, and his drumming abilities will fit like a puzzle piece in this new experience. I'm honestly quite excited and hope that everyone keeps their eyes out for the new Monster Rock that we unleash into the universe. Stay tuned!
